I recently tried the Amrapali variety for the first time, and it has completely ruined all other mangoes for me.The Flavor Profile:The sweetness is unmatched—it tastes like a blend of rich mango, pure honey, and a hint of floral nectar. It doesn't have that watery, slightly sour bite that supermarket mangoes often have. Instead, it’s a deep, concentrated tropical flavor that hits you from the very first bite.The Texture:This is the ultimate game-changer. There is absolutely zero fiber. None. No annoying strings getting stuck in your teeth! The flesh is incredibly velvety and buttery. It’s so smooth that you can literally cut it in half and eat it with a spoon like a gourmet custard.The Appearance:Don't let the outside fool you; the skin can stay quite green even when it's fully ripe. But the second you slice into it, you are hit with this breathtaking, vibrant saffron/deep orange flesh. It looks as rich as it tastes.
Final Verdict:Amrapali is pure summer luxury in fruit form. If you get a chance to buy a box of these, do not hesitate. They are worth every single penny and more. 10/10!
One of the best and sweetest mango from Bangladesh. Not the hard flesh type Dutch mango as this one stands more on the softer side. A must try if you have no qualms about the the softness but would definitely recommend as this is Bangladesh's one of most favorite mango. Glad to see that this shop tries its best to meet expectation by importing it from so far, that is quite a tough job but please keep it up.
