Poppy seeds. Posto is the Bengali word for poppy seeds, and they are commonly used in Bengali cuisine to add flavor, texture, and nutritional value to dishes.

Maanzaad is klein, olierijk, leiblauw tot grijs gekleurd zaad van de papaverplant (Papaver somniferum). Ze hebben een licht nootachtige en zoete smaak en een knapperige textuur. Ze worden gebruikt als specerij of smaakstof in verschillende keukens, met name in Midden- en Oost-Europa en het Midden-Oosten.
